chapter 1 is up!

Didn't I promise?  Don't I deliver?  Go here to read the first chapter of Whisper to the Blood, the sixteenth Kate Shugak novel, coming from St. Martin's Minotaur on February 17, 2009.

The next three chapters will be posted on November 17th, December 17th and January 17th.

An ARC is what we call in the publishing biz an advanced reading copy. They go out to booksellers and reviewers six months before the book is published. I have managed by various devious means to acquire four ARCs, and once a month for the next four months leading up to Whisper to the Blood pub day, I will be giving away one ARC to a deserving fan.
